Newsflash: I'm on mc for three days because of a terrible cold since tuesday. I extend my leave till friday so that means I have a whole week break from work. I am so the happiest worker alive! Haha. Adding to that, I borrowed two books from the library to occupy me during my free time at home. One by Thalassa Ali and the other by Chitra Divakaruni. Two of my favourite authors.

Lovers to Friends
Why do all good things comes to an End?

This song by Nelly Furtado reminds me of my makcik Farhana and of what happened to her a months ago. I don't recall it as a good thing but I guess it's a good thing while it lasted. Enough of that sad story, moving on was her birthday celebration! I was too engrossed in the plan that I forgot my own monthly-versary.

As planned, we met up at Vivocity but Ana was kept under the light about the whole suprise. Kata birthday girl kan. I came a bit late and when we met, it was like a long time reunion. We did a bit of window shopping or was it Rose who dragged us to window shopped with her? This mak nyah mak nenek thought of buying a bag for work purposes. Luckily for her, she have the experts with her. Haha.

We had our lunch at Secret Recipe after tiring ourselves out taking photos here and there. Like what makcik Ana mentioned in her blog, we even took photos of the food. We enjoyed the food very much and I really like the green apple kasturi that I ordered.

After that hearty lunch, we checked out the new sentosa station. We thought of boarding the Sentosa Express but decided against it since it was raining and there'll be nothing for us to see. So that will fall on our next itenary.

I still think it's unreasonable for Starbucks in vivocity to be that small. There goes our chances to sip our favourite frappucino cause it's full house. We walked to and fro searching for a nice cafe with comfy chairs to just chilling out and have a girl talk. From Starbucks to Coffee Bean and back to Starbucks again and finally ended up in Pacific Coffee. That too we kept on changing seats, from outdoor to the indoor's big red sofa.

I guess you people should just look at the photos instead of me spinning my own tale and trying to account for each passing moment. But one thing I should say is that we enjoyed ourselves on that day. Happy Birthday Ana!
