Truely Madly Deeply.

I really love this song and I can hear it for a millionth times if I want to. It makes me feel I'm in some island standing on top of mountains, enjoying the breeze with that special someone. Speaking of island, there's the Sentosa trip I went to with him. It's been a month now and just yesterday I'm celebrating my 34th month. I was busy entertaining the two makciks yesterday that I totally forgot about my monthly-versary. More of that celebration later on.

So on the 23rd of December, we spend our well deserved holidays to Sentosa. I met up with him early in the morning and we head to Harbour Front together. As sweet as he is, he willingly wanted to ride the train with me from Pasir Ris instead of a direct route from Sengkang. Next time, I'm going to be the one who fetch him. Breaking from the old tradition. Haha.

We had our breakfast first at Killiney's. The usual coffee, toast and eggs. Then we proceed to buy our tickets at Harbour Front Centre. We decided amicably to buy a package so that we can get discounts and also went to most of the attractions there. So, two Imbiah SurpriZe package for the both of us! We get to visit:

1. Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom
2. Cable Car (round trip, normal cabin)
3. Carlsberg Sky Tower
4. Images of Singapore
5. Sentosa 4D Magix
6. Sentosa Luge & Skyride
7. The Merlion

Instead of opting for the normal cabin for the cable car, he decided to change it to the glass cabin. Although it's more expensive but he simply swat me off with: "Alah, sekali sekala pe. Kan romantic" (read: "It's once in a while and furthermore, it's romantic"). I have nothing more to say but be silently happy.

The cable car ride was a sensational experience. I've been wanting to ride in it ever since. Luckily for me, I've no problems with heights. The feeling of being on air with just the support of the cable was extremely thrilling. It took sometime though for that someone to adjust himself (read: him). The view and scenery was nice although there was still some constructions going on below.

After the ride, we visit the Images of Singapore first. Immediately I felt that I was in a house of wax. It was scary though walking besides standing figures with humanly experessions. I kept on my guard thinking that the figure will jump out at me. Haha. He was composed though all the times. We took quite a number of photos there.

Afterwards we went to see the Merlion. Actually there's nothing much to see except again the scenery of Singapore. You are invited though to take pictures at the mouth of the Merlion by some photgrapher staff. If you want your picture, be glad to part with your 10 bucks cause that's how much it'll cost you. We didn't spend so much time there as it's getting hot and humid.

We had a mini break before we proceed to the next station: Luge and Skyride. As we stand in line, the rain started to drizzle. We had no choice but to go to a sheltered place and went for a sheltered ride. So we went on Carlsberg Sky Tower. Again, I was quite dissapointed with this ride. I thought it's going to be amazing, spinning in slow motion, 360 degrees watching Singapore from a bird's eye view.. but I don't feel the effect that I wanted to. I get bored and nauseous by the time it's over. Perhaps I just need my lunch.

Moving on, when the rain started to subside, we quickly head to the luge queue. Luckily for us we didn't need to wait that long. Now this ride is amazing. You've got power, speed and a sense of control. I started off slow and he was already ahead of me but look who's on the finishing line first. Hehe. But I've got to admit he's playing nice and letting me win.

Practically after you finish the luge you need to take the skyride back to the station. I was ecstatic cause this is the most anticipated ride. Your legs are barely hanging and you can feel and breathe the cool air. Furthermore when the metal bench started to ascend and descend was the syiok part. To add to that, I have him with me by my side. Very enjoyable.

We deprived ourselves from having lunch cause there's just more places that we wanted to go to. Next up was the 4D Magix. I can say that this is the most popular attraction. It's better that you go here early cause the queue was very very long. We need to wait for two sessions just to get in and watch the short movie (read: 20 minutes movie, 45 minutes waiting time). However I enjoyed it nevertheless. I won't spill the beans what's been going on inside. You should go and experience it yourself.

Then there's the butterfly park and insect kingdom. Inside, it houses more than hundreds species of butterflies and varieties of insects. To name a few would be the beetles, scorpions, praying mantis and other sorts. The butterflies and moths are all so beautiful and again I've taken a liking to the butterflies with brown and beige wings. Haha.

Although Underwater World was not inside our package, we decided to go for it and pay the ticket price. Again we are lucky cause they are giving discounts due to the school holidays. I was hoping to feed the stingray and oh how I feed them. It was very funny cause I was part horrified and I accidentally gave the food at it's nostrils instead of it's mouth, which was situated at the bottom part of the body. Haha. Then we walked around and instantly land ourselves on the travellator. We were so tired after all the walking and just stay there and watched the fishes, sharks and dugong! I simply can't understand why the dugong is very popular.

Afterwards we board the Sentosa bus and alight at the main station and take the cable car ride back. Both of us were exhausted and we simply enjoy the evening scenery. When we reached Vivocity, he thought of catching a movie but it's impossible to get tickets on a sunday night and at gv vivocity to be precise. Instead we went to bugis and enjoyed watching Night at the Museum. Who would've thought after all the attractions we've been to we can still watch another one?

We are such a weird couple babe.
