Second sis was astounded when she knew that my birthday and his birthday always falls on the same day each year (read: day and not date, ok). This year we celebrate on tuesdays and I can't help feeling lucky during the year when it's going to be saturday. She told me 10 is my lucky number, so we shall wait and see.

Today I took one of my last leaves and head down to relc building for some administrative matters regarding the offer at university of london. Asked mum and the youngest sister to tag along. The house was pretty much vacant since the second sis was out on her class gathering at ecp and the third one was at costa sands chalet (enjoy sakan je budak-budak ni). The directions to the building was confusing and the map given didn't help us at all. Luckily we did arrive there safely after walking under the scorching mid-day sun.

After the process, thought of meeting up with the third sis at bugis for some baju raya window shopping but she was too tired. This time, me and mum went ahead and looked through the whole line of shops at arab street. Best, I tell you. There was an array of beautiful fabrics and linings. I had an eye for this aubergine tone and mum did compliment the hues, so I might just get one for raya later. The price from shop to shop varies, so it's important to compare prices cause most of them carry the same types of fabrics. There's this one shop that mum was so berkenan with the songket terengganu and it costs 149 bucks per suit but when we when to the other shop it cost 79 bucks per suit! That was double the latter price. Boiling point betul.

We didn't bought the fabrics yet though cause we still need to decide with the other siblings first. It's always been a family affair when we intend to buy raya clothes. We head to zam zam across the street for our lunch at 5pm. Haha. Had some old fashioned chicken murtabak, some fried bee hoon and ikan bilis fried rice. I was so hungry that I finished the whole plate by 10 minutes. The teh halia there was not that bad either but the one at amoy still rules the number one on my list so far. I'm really a sucker for anything ginger, cinnamon, almond and chocolate.

Mum bought me another shoes at bhg. Total pairs of new shoes I had at home amounts to four for this month only. This is insane, but I'm liking it. Retail therapy is so fun when you had someone to pay for your bargains. I can say I'm not the only one that benefit from this but the sisters has been pocketing my money dry too. We bump into the second sis at the mrt and off again this time we went to tampines mall. Mum left us for home. We continue shopping till my heels were sore and we ended up buying five brassieres at metro, a few blouses, pants and another pair of shoes for the second sis. I never been this fulfilling and tired at the same time.

"and when I sneeze.. I shook the whole house down."

By the way, Happy 39th months to iskandar hanafi. You bring out the essence and excitement in a relationship that I am always thankful for. There's no one else like you.. and I mean you and your 'ape je ape je'. haha. Love you.
