One bird has been coming in and out of my kitchen window, thinking that it is it's poo house. Just yesterday, it dared itself and flew towards my room and wanting to get out but alas my room window was shut. I was frantic cause it started to flew like a maniac and not one person wanted to open the window pane. Haha. Luckily it flew back out of the kitchen window. This has been happening mostly everyday and mum is getting frustrated.
So I decided to lodge a complaint to my grc and the hdb. The reply was quite fast and I am assisting them in this matter. As if this is not enough, my estate is getting messier. I went jogging with mum early in the morning just now and we noticed that the place was definitely not litter-free. Packet drinks, cans, candy wrappers, plastic bags were scattered all over the void deck. Nearby a cleaner tries to clean it all up, taking his own sweet sweet time.
I don't blame the cleaner but I'm quite furious with these people who just threw and left the litter there. Not that the rubbish bin was not there but it was so so near but these people doesn't even bother to lift their fingers and help out maintain the cleanliness of the place they're living in. Like the saying goes: It takes two to tango. We too can play a part in making sure the place is clean. True be said, Singaporeans are indeed pampered. Honestly Singapore will not be a clean city (as acclaimed all over the world) if not for these foreign cleaners. Shame on us!
And the most shocking news is: who taught these school boys to pee in front of someone else's house? *smack forehead* (read: Berita Harian on Saturday, page 3)
