Fabulous Potter Fever

"Dumbledore says people find it
far easier to forgive others
for being wrong than being right".
[Hermione Granger Quote in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince]

Initially the plan to kick start the date was to have dinner at Ramen Ten, or so I was told about eating japanese food. The plan has to be scraped since me and Ana turned out late and thus we head directly to marina square for the movie and brunch. I was not feeling that well, with the flu and a slight ominous fever but I braved myself for potter's sake and kept chanting "I'm ok, I'm fine" all the way when meeting them.

The crowd was unbelievable. It was like a scene at geylang during the bazaar moments, only the difference this time around was it's airconditioned; as we walk through citylink mall. I was informed about the ndp rehearsals which was the main reason for the throngs of people. It was not that bad, to get suffocated and sandwhiched in between people. For all I know, Ana was enjoying the view of handsome people.

We were running out of ideas of where to eat and what to eat when we got to marina square. It has always been a problem when going out with these girlfriends of mine. Fickle and indecisive but fate brought us an answer and handed it to us in a hotplate. By hotplate, I mean we ate at cavana. The other fast foods and restaurants were just full so it left us with no other choice really.

Standing while waiting to enter the movie hall was proven a slight challenge. People were trying to get through you or in between you and the three of us kept on telling each other to not lost our grip. Luckily I'm not the one holding the bag of popcorns or lets just say worse things might have happen. Although the one holding it was Rose and she was quite famous for her terkejut moments. Haha.

The movie turned out great than I had anticipated. Although it may run out short than the previous installments but it still proved its credibility. I can totally forgive the three star rating that it gets from critics; which is mainly due to the slight difference of plot from the novel. Director David Yates truly brings out something unique to this movie that I actually sit upright and fidgeting to think of what's next. The weasley twins are a feast for the eyes and even Rupert Grint exudes a masculine charisma that was once a freckled humble boy. Maturity and bouts about stronger bonds of love and friendship, shouts from every corner of the movie. I can't help but feeling exuberant when I left the theatre.

The possibility of watching another episode of the same movie are of 99% high. To top it off, I might just be seeing it again during the official releasing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows; which makes it more exciting as I'm getting a copy of the final book myself. Seriously, I simply can't wait!
