It was the most short meet-ups I ever went to with the makciks. We spend three hours in silence while watching the movie and Ana even dozed off during the marriage scene. I knew we were all bumped out after work but still we managed to get together despite the lethargic state we were all in. The sympathy goes out to the dearest one too. He joined us for dinner soon after the movie ended. The dinner was at a hawker centre off selegie road. Menu includes thai-style rice, mee soto, nasi ayam and satay. By the time we were supposed to head back home (time check: 11.30pm), I was so mendak and scared that I will vomit all over the place. Luckily that didn't happen.
The next day was Isa's belated birthday bash. I know I was supposed to come early but thanks to the sudden guests, I came at six and missed the whole cake cutting ceremony. Too bad? It's a big elmo cake and I would love to see the huge grin on the toddler's face. He adores elmo. Still
I get to plant a big fat kiss on that cute chubby cheeks of michael scofield junior. Haha. Despite of joining the elders chatter, I messed around with the music instruments that Isa's father has. There's a guitar, keyboard and the coolest one of all: the electronic drum. I'm not that keen in playing music but I get myself hooked easily to new things fast.
Yup, I had enjoyed myself entirely.
Idioglossia, Rose; there's a secret language between the two of you and it's a wonder if there are really no sparks flying between you two.
