It was the most short meet-ups I ever went to with the makciks. We spend three hours in silence while watching the movie and Ana even dozed off during the marriage scene. I knew we were all bumped out after work but still we managed to get together despite the lethargic state we were all in. The sympathy goes out to the dearest one too. He joined us for dinner soon after the movie ended. The dinner was at a hawker centre off selegie road. Menu includes thai-style rice, mee soto, nasi ayam and satay. By the time we were supposed to head back home (time check: 11.30pm), I was so mendak and scared that I will vomit all over the place. Luckily that didn't happen.
The next day was Isa's belated birthday bash. I know I was supposed to come early but thanks to the sudden guests, I came at six and missed the whole cake cutting ceremony. Too bad? It's a big elmo cake and I would love to see the huge grin on the toddler's face. He adores elmo. Still
I get to plant a big fat kiss on that cute chubby cheeks of michael scofield junior. Haha. Despite of joining the elders chatter, I messed around with the music instruments that Isa's father has. There's a guitar, keyboard and the coolest one of all: the electronic drum. I'm not that keen in playing music but I get myself hooked easily to new things fast.
The cousins then played monopoly after making so much unsynchronised music. We didn't use the dices (since it's lost) and made do with a human one that generates random numbers. Turns out, the banker had to be the human dice too. It was kecoh and soon after from all corners, people started to shout about buying hot property and houses. I managed to grab hold of expensive property, so that the others will have to pay higher rent whenever they land themselves on my property. Cunning, it is. Sadly, I turnout to be the third richest and my little sister outdo me by a mere thousand dollars. Ceh. If only we can play a bit longer, then I'll get to buy hotels but its half past eleven. It's time to head back home.
Yup, I had enjoyed myself entirely.
Idioglossia, Rose; there's a secret language between the two of you and it's a wonder if there are really no sparks flying between you two.
