Went ice skating today..first time in my life! Arrived at Jurong Fuji Ice around 12pm.. me n my cuzzins couldn't wait to step our feet on the slippery ice. Anyway, we were shocked by the admission fees. Not that its expensive but very affordable! Before the outing I had surf the web and they stated that they only gave promotions to group of 4 ($36.40), for unlimited hours of play and we need to rent the skates separately. But then, each of us only need to pay $8.40 (student) and play for unlimited hours and get free skates rental!! That saved me alot of money. I just need to buy gloves which is only for 2 bucks!

And so after wearing our skates, we went in the rink. I held down to the railings.. I can't believe it was much more difficult then roller blading.. hehe.. After a few minutes of warm up, I began to take short strides to the center of the rink and half an hour later I can skate well enough!! Well, it did took me a few falls and bumps.. but if I didn't brave myself, I wouldn't know how to skate in my whole life! Being stubborn and a perfectionist, I tried to perfect my strides and I get bruises on my knees as a result.

Around 2pm, we are still skating despite of our growling stomachs and our aching knees and not to forget our sore butts. By that time, many people had came in and the rink was full and not to forget the "abusive skaters". What do I mean by that? Well, these skaters are professionals, but they suck in their attitude. They zoom in narrow gaps and make other newbies fall. Despite of the rules, they just couldn't care less. At other times, I am at the verge of outburst when suddenly this abusive skater pass me and nearly knocked me down. Its one hell of a time..

Tired and exhausted, at 3pm we lead ourselves to Long John Silver and eat! We eat until our stomachs are full. Then we went for our prayers and continue with our window shopping. Arrived home around 8.30pm, feeling tired but gratifying! My dear seems quiet today.. wonder what he's up to..
